I recently got a new motherboard, processor and RAM combo for the server. It came out of another PC that I bought second hand that someone used as a home media center. He drilled holes into the case to increase airflow, but that made the price very low. The new motherboard is an ASRock H81M-HDS (User manual).

It also came with a Intel Xeon E3-1220 v3 (4-core) processor which runs @ 3.500GHz, 8GB of DDR3 ram and an Nvidia Geforce 210 (specs) GPU. It also came with a 3TB HDD which I am currently using for backups. After some time while upgrading to the new homelab (blogpost coming soon (☞ﾟヮﾟ)☞) I installed some 16GB (2X8) G.Skill Ripjaws RAM sticks.
